BROTHERS
This started as a childhood sketch by my brother. I always loved the drawing and wanted to turn it into a kind of collaboration—his raw pencil work, reimagined through my lens. Using Photoshop, I added my own style while keeping the original's rough, hand-drawn energy intact. I cut out the orcas, resized them for better composition, and applied a Cutout effect for a bold, comic-inspired look. The background is a custom Procreate pattern using the Liquify tool to create flowing, wave-like lines that evoke water. For the typography, I chose Akira Expanded Super Bold. Its grotesque form grabs attention, and the wide characters slow down the reading pace. I placed the text at the bottom to keep focus on the art, adding both our signatures to honor the collaboration. Finally, I added grain and contrast to restore the texture and applied a dark blue gradient map. I'm really happy with how simple yet emotional this piece turned out.
